Pictures from Country Girls 2011

Sorry it's taken me so long to get these pictures up on the blog. :) It's taken a few naps, several loads of laundry, house cleaning and so on to get life back to "normal." We have also dove head first into home school as of last week, yikes! 

This year was our biggest sale we ended up having 12 vendors with great stuff as well as live music by Tristan Nichols (thanks again Tristan) and our awesome Country Girls Cafe by Tina Christenson. Overall the weekend was lovely! Thanks to all of you who were able to attend it was great to meet you.

I am excited and exhausted after a very long day of set up and clean up. It looks like this will definitely be our biggest sale ever! All of our booths are packed full of fun finds, we will have plenty of good food, live music, beautiful weather and of course good friends. We are looking forward to seeing you all. 

I was really hoping to post some pics for you but my camera battery was dead and my phone pics were blurry. I will try again tomorrow. Here's a short list of what I did see though; cabinets galore, iron beds, farm tables, lots of galvanized buckets and watering buckets, dressers, concrete garden accessories, vintage yard furniture, slip covered chairs, primitives and more......lots more :)

Vintage Marketplace

  Howdy,

  A quick post to let you know of some shopping down in Eugene. The vintage market will be open this Saturday August 13th from 9-4 if you are in the area be sure to check them out.

I am trying not to panic as I wrap up the last of my projects for the sale, keep the house in some what safe conditions, cook,  tidy up the yard and go CAMPING! I will try to post some pics of the goods soon, have a great week!

Barn House

Amanda and I attended the Barn House Show http://www.barnhousebh.com/ today, as expected it was amazing.  The booths were overflowing with wonderful treasures and the displays were beautiful. We both came away with some fabulous finds and scored some goodies for the flea market on our way home. Sorry about the terribly blurry photo it was taken with my phone, I really wanted these shutters for my chicken coop Josh is building but in the end decided to wait and continue the search for something with a hint more blue/gray. Hope your Saturday was lovely!

Country Girls Outdoor Flea Market is Almost Here!

Country Girls Sale August 19th & 20th

We will be having our sale August 19th and 20th this summer, sorry to change things up. It appears that although we would have liked to had the sale this month, life happened, and we will have to postpone for next month. No worries, it just means we will have more goodies for the sale. Happy 4th! 

Update........

Unfortunately I have misplaced my memory card gadget from my camera. I won't be able to show you how the outdoor furniture turned out yet:( but my sister bailed me out and it looks great. We went with drop cloths to cover all the furniture and zippers on the slips to keep the cushions looking lovely.  I will post pics as soon as I can. 

I snagged some great stuff at the Rustic Frills sale yesterday and will post some pics of my goodies. I will be adding some caster wheels to an old cart to make into my outdoor coffee table today.....

Outdoor furniture makeover

About 3 years ago my hubby bought me this set of furniture from Target. Unfortunately the cushions need a little tlc, so I am planning on slip covering them and re-stuffing the cushions this week. The cushions are a burnt orange color know, if all goes well they will be a nice neutral gray when I am done. I will let you know how they turn out. 

 I haven't quite figured out what I will do with this little crib, maybe a new grey slip for it too.
