Country Girls Sale August 19th & 20th

We will be having our sale August 19th and 20th this summer, sorry to change things up. It appears that although we would have liked to had the sale this month, life happened, and we will have to postpone for next month. No worries, it just means we will have more goodies for the sale. Happy 4th! 

Update........

Unfortunately I have misplaced my memory card gadget from my camera. I won't be able to show you how the outdoor furniture turned out yet:( but my sister bailed me out and it looks great. We went with drop cloths to cover all the furniture and zippers on the slips to keep the cushions looking lovely.  I will post pics as soon as I can. 

I snagged some great stuff at the Rustic Frills sale yesterday and will post some pics of my goodies. I will be adding some caster wheels to an old cart to make into my outdoor coffee table today.....

Outdoor furniture makeover

About 3 years ago my hubby bought me this set of furniture from Target. Unfortunately the cushions need a little tlc, so I am planning on slip covering them and re-stuffing the cushions this week. The cushions are a burnt orange color know, if all goes well they will be a nice neutral gray when I am done. I will let you know how they turn out. 

 I haven't quite figured out what I will do with this little crib, maybe a new grey slip for it too.

Playing catch up

 Josh and I were able to escape for a WEEK long vacation in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. It was amazing, the weather was absolutely perfect and the food was delicious.

 We laid on the beach, ate lots of nachos, went on a cruise and ate more Mexican food.

Here is my hero. A nice shot of his new henna tattoo, it's supposed to say Brandy but the poor guy didn't know how to spell so it says Byandy.   :) My mom and dad kept our four kiddos the whole time and yes I know they are awesome, I owe them my sanity.

It's calling my name

I cannot wait for the sun to come out and the weather to warm up! Gardening is my stress release and creative outlet.

I love the sun, the dirt, the flowers and even the hard work.

I love the bbq's, the long summer days, my kids running outside.(not inside :)

While I am waiting not so patiently for Spring to come, I will enjoy some beautiful gardens by picture. I will leave you with these pictures to simply inspire you.
